William Hank Hinkle

William ‘Hank’ Hinkle took flight with angels to receive his heavenly reward on September 5, 2023, at Ascension St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma with his loving family by his side. Hank took his first breath of life on November 8, 1958, in Afton, Oklahoma to James and Betty Hinkle. Hank Married the love of his life Carla on March 22, 1976, and devoted his life to loving her.

Hank was a man of very few words. But his love for is family spoke loudly. He had mastered the art of smart assery and used it well to his advantage, but his great grandkids brought a joy that overtook him daily and brought a smile to his face rarely seen. He was loved and cherished by so man and will be truly missed. Hank was loyal to his job of 38 years as a Master Boat Mechanic at Marine Max, his nickname was “Master Hank.”

Those who greeted him at the gates of Heaven include, a son Denver Ray Hinkle, his parents, and a brother Gary Steve Hinkle.

Those left to cherish the memory of such a great man include, his loving wife Carla, a daughter Linda and husband Donnie, Daughter Tonya and husband Kenny, a son, William Hinkle, a brother James Hinkle, and wife Barbara and one sister Betty and husband Mark, as well as 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

The Family Has entrusted Hank’s love and care to the staff of the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita, OK.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday September 10, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be Monday September 11, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at Ketchum Cemetery.
