Lifelong rural Vinita resident, Tommy Lee McGlasson, 76, passed away on August 6, 2021, in Edmond, Oklahoma. He was born in Vinita July 2, 1945, to Cecil and Allie Mae (Walls) McGlasson. Tommy was a Graduate of Ketchum High School. On April 7, 1965, he married the love of his life Mary Moore, a marriage which lasted for over 56 years.
Tommy was a plumber who owned and operated McGlasson Plumbing for many years. He was also a rancher and loved raising cattle. Tommy was a Ketchum School Board member for several years serving as President. He served on area water boards and church boards. Tommy built and established Log Cabin Ministries located at 442445 E. 330 Rd. He served there as co-pastor with his wife Mary for over 20 years. Tommy was a loving husband, father, grandfather (Papa), and great grandfather.
Preceding Mr. McGlasson in death are his parents, Cecil and Allie Mae McGlasson; three sisters, Betty Marquis, Sue Pettigrew and Judy McGlasson, who died at age 17.
Survivors include, his loving wife Mary of the home; three sons, Jeff McGlasson and wife Melanie, Kevin McGlasson and wife Tracey, Terry McGlasson and wife Angie; grandchildren, Tommy Lee McGlasson and wife Sarah, Melissa Lile, Jackie Lee and husband Josh, Shyla McGlasson, Coy McGlasson, Jacob McGlasson, Brady McGlasson; great grandchildren, Jeffery McGlasson, Wyatt McGlasson, Jolene McGlasson, Lizzie Lile, Bella Lile, Remington Lile, Harper Renfrow, Reese Renfrow; brothers, Wesley McGlasson and Johnny McGlasson along with many other relatives and a host of friends.
There will be a visitation for Mr. McGlasson at Luginbuel Funeral Home, 332 N. Scraper, Vinita, Oklahoma on Friday, August 20, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Cowboy Junction Church with Greg Highsmith officiating. Interment will follow at Carselowery Cemetery. A special Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Sunday, August 22, 2021, at Log Cabin Ministries with lunch served afterwards. The family would like to welcome everyone to attend one or all services in honor of their beloved husband, father, family member and friend.
