Thomas Heard

Thomas V. (Tom) Heard 68, of White Oak, Oklahoma, passed away at his home, on March 18, 2023, with his family at his side. He was born October 24, 1954, in Vinita, Oklahoma to Ralph Warren Heard and Louise Rames Heard, He was educated at White Oak Public Schools, and on February 5, 1999, he married Teresa Park. Tom enjoyed working on old cars and trucks, driving the back roads, and drinking beer. He loved telling jokes and spending time with his family, Tom loved all his family and considered them one of his greatest achievements. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Tom Heard is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Louise Heard, and brothers Ricky and Ronnie Heard. Also, his pet Buddy who was his BFF.

Surviving Tom are his wife, Teresa Heard, of the home; children Rebecca and husband Levi Stubbs, of Inola, Melissa Heard, of Vinita, Wanda Carr and Brian French of Florida, Thomas Heard and wife Kameesha, of Vinita; grandchildren, Christopher (Bub) and wife Debra Streeter, of Vinita, Dusty Hawkins and Brent Akers, of Oklahoma City, Delton Lake and Brittany Dry, of Vinita, Justin and wife Molly Hawkins. of Adair, Laytin Parker and Emrey Atkins, of Vinita, Cheyenne Richmond, of Arkansas, Dayten French of Florida, L.D. Richmond, of Arkansas, Bo Stubbs, of Inola; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Lilly, Payton, Kenzlee, Everly, Masyn, Kolsen; siblings, Janis Heard, and Brenda Canady; pet Hank; many other relatives and a host of friends.

A graveside service for Tom Heard will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 23, 2023, at the White Oak cemetery. The family will be at Luginbuel Funeral home Wednesday, March 22, 2023, from 5 to 7 p.m. to greet friends. The family suggests donations to the Thomas Heard Final Expense Fund, at BancFirst in Vinita. Services are entrusted to the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
