Sandra (Runnells) Trout

Sandra Kay (Runnells) Trout passed away on February 07, 2021, in Vinita. She was born at Branson, Missouri May 26, 1957, the daughter of Jerry Forbis and Flora Lavon (Young) Sharp. Sandra attended school and graduated from Ketchum High School. She attended college at Rogers State University and received her bachelor's degree in child psychology.  Sandra was a police officer and dispatcher for fourteen years in Mayes County. She had also worked for Strang, Spavinaw, and Vinita as an officer. Sandra enjoyed playing pool, crocheting, sewing and making quilts, working on boat motors, singing karaoke, fast cars, and shooting guns. Her most cherished time was spent with her family and grandchildren.

Sandra was preceded by her father, Grandmother Allie Gertrude, brother John Forbis, sister Peggy Forbis, and a daughter Kristi Trout.

She is survived by her mother Flora Lavon Sharp, significant other Robert Platt, two sons John Trout and wife Nikki of Strang, Jerry Trout and wife Melissa of Cleora, and a daughter Misty Trevino and husband Sam of Pryor, a nephew Robert Stevenson and wife Charmayne of Albuquerque, New Mexico, niece Shae Stevenson of Ketchum, and one stepdaughter Chelle Davidson and husband Tracy of Lenapah. Her thirteen grandchildren, Lavon, Samartha, Robert, Jamie, Carl, Jaedon, Marcus, Kayetlynn, Caleb, Bella, Leah, Kaitlyn, and Cole.

Family visitation is scheduled for Thursday, February 11, 2021, at the Luginbuel Funeral Home chapel from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be Friday, February 12, 2021, at 11:00 am at Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Tobe Sperry officiating. Burial will follow at Spavinaw Stang Cemetery in Spavinaw.
