Michael Price

Michael Douglas Price, 68, of Chelsea, Oklahoma went to be with the Lord on December 28, 2021. He was born September 4, 1953, in Amarillo, Texas, to Ted and Jerre Price. Mike was a graduate of Welch High School in Welch, Oklahoma. On April 3, 2007, he married Cindy Neal (McCormick) in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He later retired as a lab technician for Dupont. Mike was a member of the Calvary Lighthouse Church in Chelsea. He was very devoted to his church and to the Lord Jesus. He was always helping and encouraging others whether by working with the Grand Nation Organization, Royal Rangers Scout Group, or any other person or group that he could mentor and talk to about Jesus. Mike was also a member of the Gideons, and he enjoyed passing out bibles to anyone that would accept one. Mike enjoyed gardening and reading but mostly loved his family. His wife, children, and grandchildren all were very special to him, and he loved them with all his heart. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Preceding Mike in death are his parents, Ted and Jerre Price, and one son Joshua Price.

Survivors include his wife, Cindy, of the home; children Caleb Price, Lydia Reina and husband Scott, Israel Price, Jennifer Scott and husband Sean, Becca Hale and husband Branson, Angel Hoodenpyle and husband Tim, AJ Neal and wife Rosey, Jonathan Neal and wife Kaylee, Thomas Neal; brother, Tony Price, niece Nicole Hoff and husband Lyndon; seventeen grandchildren; many other relatives and a host of friends.

Services for Michael Price will be held at 10 a.m., Friday December 31, 2021, at Calvary Lighthouse in Chelsea, Oklahoma. Graveside service will follow at Martin Cemetery in Nowata County, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. In lieu of flowers the family asks for any donations to go to missions at Calvary Lighthouse Church
