Mary Purcell

Mary Ellen Purcell was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma to the parents of Clyde and Cecil (Goss) Moore.  She passed away on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at her home in Big Cabin, OK.

Mary was devoted in her religion and loved Jesus with all her heart.  She had a beautiful voice and would use it to sing Hymns which were her songs of choice, she would also sing at many of the special events and services held at the church.  Mary also loved to make things, she made crafts, needlepoint arts and crocheted countless blankets and quilts. She was the definition of the words mother and grandmother, the twinkle in her eyes and the beautiful smile on her face, showed the love she had for each one of us, when we were with her. Mary loved her family dearly; she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mary is proceeded in death by her parents, Clyde. and Cecil (Goss) Moore, husband, Everett Purcell, brother, Clyde Moore, sisters, Christine Beall, Betty Stone, son, Douglas Lawson and granddaughter, Sharon Daniel.

Mary is survived by her loving daughter, Linda Purcell, granddaughters, Judy Parker, Susan Bennet, grandson, Jeff Richardson, brothers, Jerry Moore, Danny Moore, sister, Donna Haskins, great grandchildren, Bruce, Madison, Brooklyn, Kaitlyn Bennet, Dylan Tyler, Caitlin Parker, along with 4 great-great grandchildren and many other nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 06, 2021 at 2:00 PM with Don Gettle officiating.
