Marvin Martin

Marvin Eugene Martin passed away December 05, 2020 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born July 04, 1930 in Vinita, Oklahoma the son of George “Dick” Martin and Alma (West) Martin. Marvin was raised in Vinita and took up the trade of Carpentry for a profession. He married the love of his life Dorothy Snodderly April 05, 1950; they celebrated sixty years of marriage before her passing. Marvin’s passions were carpentry and coon hunting. He always said you couldn’t beat a good walker coon dog.

Marvin was preceded in death by his mother, father, wife Dorothy, a son Danny Martin, three brothers, Elmer, George, and Hosea Martin, four sisters Maxine Branch, Lela Myers, Letha Taylor, and Ethel Martin.

He is survived by his two children, Tami Martin –Agilar of Vinita and Tyler Martin of Miami.

Funeral services will be on December 16, 2020, at 3:00 pm at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita with Pastor Justin Turner Officiating.
