Marvin Eugene Cozart

Marvin Eugene Cozart, 64-year-old Vinita resident, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at home. He was born March 19, 1960, in Marysville, California to Charles Edward and Helen (Manzer) Cozart.

Marvin worked for many years as a Mechanic in Big Cabin, Oklahoma. He loved to fish, work on old cars, and ride motorcycles. In his younger years, Marvin was quite the “dare devil” and loved to mimic Evil Knievel’s tricks and stunts. Being a country kid, that meant making ramps to jump horses and other things found around the farm and we are proud to report no animals were ever injured.

Marvin is survived by his sons, Jason Cozart (Megan) and Justin Cozart of Joplin, Missouri; grandchildren, Rainey Waterson, and Trinity Cozart; brother, Danny Cozart (Sylvia) of Maine; sisters, Pam Cozart of Grove, Oklahoma, Teresa Bennett (Bruce) of Vinita, Oklahoma, and Mary Cozart of California.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, George Farrow; and brother, Charlie Cozart.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
