Marlene Aronia Kieslich, 86, of Vinita, passed away November 12, 2021, at Saint Francis Health System in Vinita. She was born December 23, 1934, in Joplin, Missouri to W.H. Perry and Aronia (McGinnis) Perry. She graduated from Car Junction High School in Carl Junction, Missouri. Marlene was married to Carl R. Kieslich, and they owned and operated the Willow Park Marina in the Ketchum area of Grand Lake. Over the years Marlene was the Choir leader at several local Churches and she loved singing. She enjoyed collecting miniatures and crocheting for her grandbabies. She had birdhouses, birdfeeders, and loved watching the hummingbirds. Marlene delivered meals on wheels for several years and loved tending to her beautiful flower gardens. Above all, she loved her family. Her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all had a special place in her heart. Marlene will be missed by all who knew her.
Preceding Mrs. Kieslich in death are her parents W.H. and Aronia Perry and a brother Warren Perry. Survivors include her husband, Carl; children, Dana Gregg and husband Lee, of Kirkland, Washington, Kathy Antisdale and husband David, of Sammamish, Washington, Carl Kieslich and wife Kris, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Scott Kieslich and wife Tammy, of Vinita, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; a niece, Debbie Smith; a nephew Dan Perry; many other relatives and a host of friends.
A graveside Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 15, 2021, at Military Cemetery in the Langley, Oklahoma area.
