Larry Brown

Larry Don Brown, age 72 of grove, ok died Sunday November 15, 2020 in his home near Jay, OK.  He was born on July 23, 1948 in Heavener, OK to James w. and Adelene Williams Brown.  Larry married Judy K. Lierle on September 26, 1969.

Larry spent 25 years working as an airplane mechanic at Tinker Airforce Base retiring in 1993.  He moved to Grove from Yucon, OK in 2005.  Larry spent two tours with the US Army in Vietnam earning the Bronze Star and the Silver Cross.  He was a member of the Grove VFW serving as Commander, Vice Commander and Quartermaster.

He loved to fish, to play golf with his brothers and especially loved OU Football.

Surviving are his wife Judy, brothers; Gary, Terry and Bill Brown, sisters; Linda Thompson and Sherry Kinsey

He was preceded in death by his daughter Lori, who’s softball team he coached and sister Joann Beverage

Burial is planned at the Resthaven Cemetery in Oklahoma City, at 2 PM on Friday November 27, 2020.
