Karen Shamblin

Karen Marie (Satterwhite) Shamblin passed away March 12, 2020 in Joplin Missouri. She was born September 02, 1961 in Afton, Oklahoma the daughter of Jack and Sharon (Trout) Satterwhite. Karen attended Vinita Public School and Afton Vo-tech where she received her nursing degree. She moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and then to Arizona before coming home to Vinita in 2015 where she lived the rest of her life. Karen was an avid reader, she enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her parents, Jack and Sharon Satterwhite of Vinita; daughters, Nancy Armer of Vinita, Shandy Breese and Jennifer Moore both of California; three grandchildren; brothers Danny and David Satterwhite of Vinita; nephews Jason Satterwhite and wife Susan of Vinita, and Hunter Satterwhite also from Vinita.

Funeral services will be March 19, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Daryl Lee officiating.  Services have been entrusted to Luginbuel Funeral Home, Vinita, OK.
