Joyce Noland

Joyce Yvonne Noland, 82 year old  resident of Grove, Oklahoma passed away on September 24, 2020.

Joyce was born on September 10, 1938 in Vinita, Oklahoma.  She was the daughter of James N. Whorton and Ollie B. (Colvin) Whorton.  In her younger years, Joyce worked as a waitress for the Horseshoe Grill and the Hotel Arkansas.  Joyce was united in marriage to the love of her live Frank M. Noland on August 24, 1952 in Rogers, Arkansas.  Joyce worked for Daisy Manufacturing for 37 years.    She enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting and sewing.  Joyce was an outstanding cook, and was very devoted to her family.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, her three sisters; Shirlene Dunnaway, Beverly Murray, Twila Cook her brother Gary Whorton.

Private services will be held at a late date.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma.
