John Andrew Koscelny Sr., 84, passed away on Friday, February 21, 2020 at Ascension Jane Phillips Medical Center in Nowata, OK. He was born June 4, 1935 to Joseph and Madeliene (Spurgeon) Koscelny. John attended school in Delaware and Nowata. On April 7, 1958 he married the love of his life Patricia Irene Benning, together they raised cattle on their farm west of Delaware. John worked in the oil fields, and also served in the National Guards.

John is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Tom and Dan Koscelny.

Survivors include his wife, Pat of the home; children, John A. Koscelny Jr. and wife Brenda, Cheryl Bunker and husband Cary, Jeff Koscelny and wife Angie, Kathy Bell; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Kenny Koscelny, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the St. Catherine Catholic Church, Nowata, OK. Burial will follow at the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery.
