Ivy Nell (Carter) Brewster

Ivy Brewster 91 of Eric Oklahoma was born in Winfield Alabama on May 9^th, 1932, and was one of ten children. She passed from this life on Wednesday, August 2^nd, 2023.

Ivy is proceeded in death by her loving husband Jack Brewster and two of her children, Jackie Brewster, and Sally (Brewster) Turner, and survived by her son Ty Brewster.

Ivy enjoyed the outdoors, planting, and growing flowers, her house was always in bloom. She was also a nurse to any creature that was injured and loved all God’s creatures.

 She had a love of Country music, BBQ, hamburgers, coconut cream pie, silly comedy movies, and fishing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Tyler Brewster, Kennedy and Kade Brewster and JT Turner.

She resided in Cleora Oklahoma where she was the owner and operator of the J & T bait shop. After closing the bait shop, she worked at the Ketchum school district as a janitor and worked in the cafeteria.  After leaving Cleora she and Jack move to Texas where they worked until retirement. They then settled in Eric, Oklahoma where they enjoyed their retirement and loved growing immense gardens, most of which they shared with others.

Ivy was a proud member of the Eastern stars and a religious person.

She was loved by all and will be missed.

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Saturday August 12, 2023, at the Luginbuel Funeral Home with interment to follow at McLaughlin Cemetery.
