Dorothy Mabery

Dorothy Jean Mabery passed from this life on June 25, 2022. Known to family and friends as Dot, she was born on April 5, 1951 in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Dot received both her baptism and first communion at the St. Francis Catholic Church and attended school at St. Francis Xavier Academy in Natchez, Mississippi. She graduated from Jenks Beauty College. She had many interests including quilting, sewing and embroidery. She loved crafting including stamping, miniature book binding and other creative projects. Her favorite musician was Van Morrison and had over 60 of his CD’s. Dot was an avid movie fan and book reader as evidenced by her collection.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mabery, parents Kathy Burns and Albert Strong, and her brother Christopher Strong. She is survived by her step-son, Darren Mabery, her sister-in-law, Kathy Mabery Arthur (John), step-nieces, Jessica Arthur Varela (Jason), Catherine Arthur Davis (Mark), Roxanne Mabery McManus and step-nephew, Luke Arthur (Crystal).
