Brandon Dennis

Vinita resident Brandon Scott Dennis passed away on April 15, 2023, at his home. He was born to Sonia Adams and Tom Dennis on November 20, 1978. Brandon was raised by his mom and step- dad Ivan Odom in Claremore, Jay and Colcord, Oklahoma, and Silom Springs Arkansas. As a young adult he made Claremore and Tulsa his home.

Brandon spent most of his young life with his sister, Ashley Odom, by his side. Wherever he was, you could be she was close by also. As they grew up and their family grew, they tended to drift apar, but anytime one needed the other, they were there for each other.

Brandon worked for CNN contracting, for many years and later Eggberts, as a cook, He built electric bicycles, worked on cars, and was a good carpenter. He could work on just about anything.

Brandon had 5 children, Drew, 26, of Locust Grove, Savanna, 25, Harlie, 19, James, 17, and Jon, 16, all of Vinita. 2 Grandchildren, Persphonie and Jamari.

Brandon is preceded in death by his stepdad, Ivan Odom, Father, Tom Dennis, a cousin, Darrel Owens, Grandfather James Adams, Grandmother Barbara Cruse, and great Grandmother, Sarah Barnes.

He is survived by his mother, Sonia Adams, sister, Ashley Odom, niece Barbara Odom, his children, Drew, Savanna, Harlie, James, and Jon, his grandchildren, Persephonie and Jamari, and cousins Crystal and Angie.

Brandon was a family man. He loved his children, and he never turned his back on them. He loved each of them unconditionally. Brandon was a good man, and he will be missed.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Thursday April 20, 2023, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm, at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Friday April 21, 2023, in the Luginbuel Funeral Home chapel. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
