Billy C. Cagle, 67, passed away peacefully in his home on April 11th, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born on September 10th of 1953. The eldest son of Claud and Louise Cagle. Big brother to Connie, Brenda, and Vickie.
Billy graduated high school in Salina with the class of 1971. He met and married his high school sweet heart, Juanita. Together they have 3 wonderful children, numerous grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Billy worked as a welder, but most memorably as a truck driver. He served many years on the Spavinaw School Board. He also coached little league baseball for a number of years. He enjoyed that very much and was very competitive when it came to our little team from Spavinaw. He truly loved spending time with his family and friends, but he also had many different hobbies. He loved spending his time outdoors and was an avid coon hunter for many years! He also loved fishing, gardening, and canning. Anyone that knew him could tell you he was a great story teller. Billy could befriend anyone and he never met a stranger.
Billy is survived by his wife, Juanita of Spavinaw. Children, Justin Cagle and wife Cheryl, Jason Cagle and wife Shana, and Billie Jean Allen and husband Jeremy, all of Spavinaw. Grandchildren, Allison Pritchett and husband Trey, Jessie Cagle and girlfriend Sierra, Kacie Cagle, Jason Cagle Jr., Zaine Cagle, Jourdan Allen, Bella Allen, and Kaylynn Allen. One great granddaughter, Stella Pritchett. Billy is preceded in death by his mother, Opal Louise Cagle.
A graveside service will be held at the Spavinaw Cemetery on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 1:00 PM with John Blackwell officiating. Justin Cagle, Jason Cagle, Jessie Cagle, Trey Pritchett, Jason Cagle Jr., Jeremy Allen and Zaine Cagle will be serving as Pallbearers.
