Andrew Dreadfulwater Smoke passed away July 26, 2021, at Vinita, OK. He was born July 1, 1949, the son of Goldie (Dreadfulwater) Smoke and Sam Smoke in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. He attended and graduated Strang High School. Andrew served his country during the Vietnam War in the Army. He married Brenda Hicks on December 23, 1983. They celebrated forty-eight years together. Andrew attended college to learn his trades and was a carpenter and mechanic during his working years. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends visiting and going to casinos.
Andrew was preceded by his mother and father; one daughter, Samantha Smoke; three brothers, William, Joe, and Sanford Smoke; two sisters, Vivian Haire, and Pauline Smoke.
Survivors include his wife, Brenda (Hicks) Smoke of the home Vinita; five sons, Joshua Smoke, of Spavinaw, Eric Smoke and wife Tamika Black of Jay, Andrew Dwain Smoke, Las Vegas, Nevada, Justin Roger Smoke and wife Delynn of Spavinaw, Andrew Sky Smoke of Langley; two daughters; Casey Smoke and husband Dustin Cox of Vinita, Natalie Smoke of Vinita; seven grandchildren; three brothers, John Smoke of Jay, Billy Smoke of Locust Grove, Ronnie Smoke of Seattle, Washington and one sister, Virginia Young of Spavinaw.
A family visitation be Thursday, August 05, 2021, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel Vinita, OK. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Friday, August 06, 2021, at Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel Vinita, OK. Burial to follow at Ribbon Indian Cemetery in Spavinaw, OK.
